I found this piece of wall decor and it clearly needed some color. Now it's the perfect addition to the striped walls and above my bed. As we all know, I'm a little obsessed with gold. So happy with how this turned out!
{My newest favorite shade of red lipstick, "Dare You" by MAC}
{One of the greatest thrift finds}
{I can't get enough of gold-rimmed dishes, all vintage}
I'm finally headed home for the next few days and relaxing in all my favorite ways. Which include my sisters, the countryside, and old friends. Hope you're enjoying a sweet break!

"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever . . . it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
...pile on the bright colors during these rainy days. The sun has been gone lately and I think the best way to fight that is as many bright colors you feel needed. These ladies have it down and I'm loving it.
All the guys are going away for the weekend for a little camping and that means that the girls get to stay and enjoy the weekend. I'm excited for some good girls' time since being new here in the city. Plus, every weekend I always stumble on the cutest boutiques and most amazing restaurants. Here's to letting the guys go away while all the ladies play!
I know the look is on blogs everywhere, but every time I see outfits topped off with an oversized sweater, I can't help but want to curl up into one myself. I love pairing mine with slim-fitting skirts or skinny jeans and heels. And these pics add all the inspiration I need!
It makes for a crazy week when you're finishing everything up for a week of travel. But I'm counting down the days till I'm back in Texas with my sisters!
A simple weekend's ahead before the madness of the holidays begins so I'm determined to put the finishing touches on my place. I have a few projects that aren't finished and it's about time me and the paint get some things done. Happy Weekend!
This weekend is finally here. Me and the beau are headed to Tuscaloosa for the weekend for the Bama/ LSU with a group of friends. I have been counting down the days for this for quite a while and now that it's finally here, it's time to put on my best crimson dress and enjoy a great football in this perfect fall weather. Roll Tide!
This is how I need my afternoon to be looking today. Although sadly, it's an email inbox and sorting through a million RSVP's for our fall event. But with the day ending in a big birthday dinner for a sweet friend, that surely helps.
