Mondays Should Be "Ban"ned.

I know it seems like every Monday I post about how much I dislike them and how rough they are. And yes, it not only seems that way, but it actually is that way. I just don't know what else to say on such a monotonous day. Other than running around and yelling "The bachelorette comes on tonight!" at the top of my lungs, I have to just sit, try to keep my eyes open, and plan for the week ahead. It's become quite the routine really. Sit, open, plan. Sit, open, plan.

On a brighter note, my sweet boyfriend and I purchased matching Ray Bans. We're excited and can't wait to match on family vacation. I'm glad I fell in love with a guy who looks so dapper in a pair of dark aviators.

Contrary to what you may think, no that is not us in those ads.
We were asked but politely turned it down when we thought the fame might get to our heads.

Have a wonderful week!

Everyone Needs to Relax Sometime.

So even though I nearly took off to Austin last minute, I decided against it. I haven't spent one weekend here in Dallas since I've moved in and it seems it's about time for that. I'm looking forward to sleeping in, enjoying a Saturday in the city and catching up on my ever growing to-do list.

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and you're able to do all you've ever wanted. In 2 days, of course.

Now That's a Spill.

So yes, I am a little behind on my posts. I do realize that. Although, with my busy schedule and finishing up this last online class, the time to find pretty pictures and fabulous clothing is few and far between. Even though, if I had my way, the time to find pretty pictures and fabulous clothing would be here, there and everywhere.
I finally got to go see my cousin's adorable apartment tonight. It's so fun that we're in the same city. Once I got there, I looked down at a new shirt of mine and realized I had spilt some of my cranberry juice down the front on the drive over. I'm so graceful. And by that I mean if I have something new, I will spill whatever I'm consuming on that new item. But she kindly threw it in the wash and it's as good as new.

I hope you are all having a lovely week, and keeping all your shirts clean.

Regularity at its Best.

Yes, today was a regular Tuesday. I didn't go to New York on a whim like I wanted to yesterday. I mean who would run all the errands at work and wash all the votives. I'm so needed it's insane. Today was quite a sweet day: A meeting downtown, lunch with an old friend, and a cookout on the back porch.

Today may have been a regular day, but I like that my regular day involves roaming the streets of downtown, sorting through millions of bags of gummy butterflies, and a black raspberry Izze during the Golden Hour. I can't wait for my first event on Thursday! It involves 2,000 live butterflies, $1000 worth of candy, and walking trees. Can you say magical?

Let's Go...

..to the new J. Crew Bridal store in New York. Please, oh please. I mean look at this pure bliss:

I want to take a trip to that playground so bad. Not in the "Oh that'd be neat to go to New York and stop by that store kind of way." But in the "Oh man Oh man, please give me every item in site so that I can look like a princess forever" kind of way.
Monday's over. You can breathe now.

Happy Get-Away Weekend.

I'm not going anywhere too special but it will be nice to go relax somewhere else and enjoy the weekend with some girlfriends. I'm going back to my old house only it won't be my house anymore, kind of wierd to think about.

I think my room is happy I left. I'm sure it was tired of that yellow bench, those mirrors peeling the wall off, and that baby blue gray mix that I chose for the walls. Anyhow, I have such a busy week coming up that I'm excited to get in some rest and relaxation.

Have a sweet little weekend.

Bold and Just Plain Perfect.

I took a short break from my to do list to some internet browsing and when I came across the Hunter Dixon Spring Collection I knew I had made the right choice. See the perfection for yourself.

The bold patterns and bright colors are the perfect combination. Whether it's a Saturday picnic or night out, these pieces fit the occasion. Well we made it to Thursday, which means we're so much closer to the weekend. Oh, the sweet sweet weekend.

Have A Seat.

Today at work I was hunting for some lounge seating for a party and one of our go -to sites is Suite 206. I love the sleek modern look yet also shabby chic. I want every piece for my own. To just have every kind in my apartment. So that when I have visitors I'm able to say, "Have a seat in this sweet chair." But I guess an apartment should contain more than just seating, especially when you have to use all the space wisely like in mine. Anyways, feast your eyes on these pieces, some of my sweet favorites.

I found my way around Uptown today. How, you might ask? Trial and error running errands for work. They said that was the best way to find my way around. I mean yes, it is, but it sure isn't the most relaxing way. Happy Tuesday!

Mellow Yellow.

Dear Monday, I was so not ready for you. Not in the slightest bit. You rudely interrupted my perfect weekend. Although, now that I got to enjoy a fab lunch and the bachelorette, I'm not as bitter.
love, me

These pops of yellow brightened my busy day. Perhaps they will yours too. The framed yellow painting is something I would definitely slip on my wish list. As well as the sunlight streaming in those perfect sized windows.

I've Got Some Catching Up To Do.

With moving, my fabulous Alabama trip, and starting my internship, I am officially behind. My suitcase is still sitting in my room just staring at me with all the clothes that I packed still in it. Every eleven minutes or so, I swear I can hear it whispering, "Unpack me or I'll throw these clothes out our window." Looks like I'll be bringing them in from the grassy lawn by next week.

Even though work has already been keeping me busy, it's perfect. I absolutely love it. I'm headed home tonight to see my little sister graduate tomorrow and hang out with some old friends in the comfort of our hometown. I'll be back next week full force, hopefully. I mean, we can see how it goes.

I feel as though I may never catch up. As much as I love the city, I miss my sweet rest.
