White Blank Page.

This past week I had four days of working at home because of the winter weather that hit the city. It was pretty relaxing but spending that much time in my apartment of course brought out my decorating urge and I couldn't help but switch a few things around adding a few different touches here and there. As much as I love my little loft, it sure brings its share of white walls. And even though I believe white is the best color in any room, sometimes you want to find ways to add what you can to your giant white blank page.

Moore & Moore is a new Australian company that has classic designs of gorgeous colored wallpaper. I feel that when anyone hears the word wallpaper, they picture a house in the 60s that needs an urgent makeover but these picture are sure to change your mind.

And yes, the title of this post is the title of a Mumford song. I just sneak them in where I can.

A Toast to Working at Home.

Because when it snows outside, you get the following perks while working at home:
- Rod Stewart and Bing Crosby as loud as you want to play it
-my UGGs
-the view out my massive window
-getting comfortable on my couch
-candles that smell good
-a break for the gym whenever I choose
-Friday Night Lights (Tim loves the snow.)

Rustic Glamour

I took a break from my massive to-do list to look at some decorating inspiration and Tracery, out of Alabama, is one of my favorite sites to steal ideas from. This house they did on Lake Martin has the perfect rustic color palette with just a touch of glamour here and there.

I would not mind spending the rest of my week in that beautiful home and all it's white glory.

Just Some Perfect Inspiration.

Harper's Bazaar has quickly become my favorite magazine. My friend Shae introduced me to it a while back and after skimming through all hers, I'm happy to say that when my Bazaar comes in the mail I love running straight to my couch and swooning over every picture inside.

The thing I love most about them is the elegance and simplicity in the cover. Even after I've already looked through them 4 or 5 times, they still look lovely just sitting stacked on my coffee table. I haven't quite finished my collection of perfect coffee table reads but these have been taking over the job rather well. Not to mention, the fashion inspiration this magazine provides is something I can't help but love.

Bringin' It Back.

This Christmas, I was given some great accessories. And have to come to love how they can freshen up any outfit that you may have had hidden in your closet a while. Maybe you have a last season button up, but paired with that new infinity scarf and a shiny watch, no one knows it should be thrown in the trash.

These statement necklaces by Tom Binns are the perfect accessory to any outfit. Whether it be that classic black dress you can't get rid of or a skirt that you've been trying to pull off for months. Paired with these gorgeous pieces, consider your fashion emergency solved.
